When two-MICHELIN-starred chef Syrco Bakker chose Bali as the place to build his next chapter, his vision was clear. He wanted to reconnect with what matters most. That vision became Syrco Basè, a conscious dining concept where local products and flavours meet a modern Western approach. Guided by Traceability, Nature, and Transparency, every dish starts with two simple questions: where does it come from, and who is behind it? Local ingredients take centre stage, but they are only one part of the experience. The farmers, fishermen, artisans, and producers behind them are equally important. Known as the Bali Heroes, they help shape every plate, drink, and detail of the guest journey. From line-caught fish to handcrafted ceramics, their stories are woven throughout the experience, which diners can enjoy at the restaurant, which opens Tuesday to Saturday.
